As the holidays approach, I'm sending out increasing desperate hints to my family and husband about the kate spade items I'm craving.  Here are some of my holiday picks:

JEWEL PRINT HENRITA SKIRT

 Black, jewels and pockets? This is a (hopeful) must have.

I've had my eye on this classic for quite some time.

Neon pink plus jewels equals dream bracelet.

Pink and gold is my favorite color combination so 

I'm hoping to rock this shoe in the very near future.

the novelty clutch

Every so often kate spade comes out with a fabulous clutch disguised as something else.  I call these novelty clutches and I adore them.  Here's my collection:

The Great Gatsby book clutch - this was my first novelty clutch and it is still my favorite.  Anyone who has read the novel can tell you that a clutch disguised as book is right in line with the themes of decadence.

Newspaper clutch - I love this one because the more worn in it becomes, the more it resembles an actual paper.

Boat clutch - my perfect summer accessory.  I get so many compliments on this one.

Pool clutch - for non-boating summer events, otherwise known as pool parties.

Dictionary clutch - kate spade came back to the book theme this fall and I immediately jumped on board.  No regrets.

Obsessed is a little strong, no?  The below is maybe a sixth of my collection (or a sixteenth...?) as I don't want to expose my treasures all at once.  And some of them are in storage under my bed, on high shelves, etc...

For the record, I do own other brands.  (I'm particularly partial to JCrew and Milly.) But there's something about the aesthetic of kate spade that really strikes a cord with me.  I love the combination of classic and whimsy.  And the glitter.  I really enjoy the glitter.

I own kate spade bags, shoes, jewelry, clothes and dishes.  While not everything they produce is my style (I don't wear brown. Not ever.), for the most part, I am perpetually scheming how to get my hands on their latest creation.
